First of all, my posts will not have any catchy beginning slogans, I will not be here to provide humorous posts (mainly because I flat out cannot), and I will not have any weekly or daily segments. I will post whenever I feel, about whatever I feel. Now, I am not certain on how my partner wants to go along with his posts, but, that's his business. All I know is that I will put my best work into my writing, and I will feel good about my writing as well. So, I now your attention to the section below in which my official first post begins.
Thank you for the nice introduction. I will first say that after tonight, I have realized something. The Adam Jones' of the world are not the problems we face today. No. Most of the Jones' of the world accept the fact that they did wrong, and they do their prison time, and they try to fix their lives. Heck, a week ago, I would be saying Pacman instead of Adam, but, Adam chose to lose that nickname to try to help his cause to start over. And, I have a lot of respect for a man or woman who does this to try to help themselves mentally, and also in the public eye. But, the problems of the world are the people who bash the Adam Jones' of the world. These people are people who don't accept their responsibilities and who repeatedly offend the same group of people. Those peoples are the Don Imus' of the world.
Don Imus. First called the Rutgers' women's basketball team "nappy-headed hoes". Now, says that the reason Adam Jones was in jail and committed the crimes he did was because he was African-American. Well, excuse me sir, but, I absolutely have no respect for you at all. You attack a group of people, and you, just like Adam, were given a second chance. So far, Adam Jones has for the most part done his part to help himself succeed in his second chance. He is at least trying to improve. You sir, Mr. Imus, have not used your second chance to help yourself, and it shows that you meant nothing in your apology. It shows that you could care less what comes out of your mouth, you just want to say it. Well, buddy, I have a problem with that. With a second chance, people are supposed to learn from their actions, and improve their actions. You have shown you learned nothing from your first incident, and for that, you will be fired again, and, hopefully, never get another job.
Some may now say that you were completely within your rights to say what you said. They may say you have the freedom of the press. I object. You have in fact violated the constitution. Yes, anyone has the freedom of the press, but, if you use that freedom to cause a "fight" (in my own words), then you have violated the constitution. It is not unlawful at all to fire you, and, if I were your radio station, I would fire you in an instant.
In this world, we are here to do two things: 1. Live for ourselves, and 2. Make the world a better place. Both Don Imus and Adam Jones are holding up number 1, but, at least Adam Jones is at least trying to hold up number 2. Don Imus is in no way trying to make this world a better place. And that my friend is what truly makes me sad.
Don Imus, you must not look at Adam Jones and say that he is a lesser person than you. You must not look at anyone and say that. I will not say you are a lesser person than anyone either, because you are not. Nobody is lesser than another. But, your choices are lesser than others' choices. Adam Jones may not have made the best choices for himself, but, he knows that, and so do most others in his position like Deon Sanders and Michael Irvin. Those other two people were affected with many problems in their life, but they overcame them and are now respectable people. But, you Don Imus, you are not a respectable person. You made a terrible mistake twice, and a terrible mistake should never be repeated. I believe in second chances, but, I don't go any higher on chances. Two chances and you are done. Don Imus, you are done. After what you said about Adam Jones is a disgrace to all African-Americans, Caucasians, and every race. Saying it is typical for an African-American to go to strip clubs and bars and do drugs and have weapons is absolutely terrible. What if I said it was typical for an older man like you to just complain and hate the world and everyone in it? You wouldn't like that at all. I know that it isn't true, but, neither is what you said about Adam Jones.

Don Imus, that quote is describing you. You need to learn that what you did is wrong. No more shrugging your problems off because you have the money and the good life. Now is the time for you to learn your lesson like the rest of the human race.
Don Imus, Adam Jones has learned his lesson, and he has tried to improve his life. Don, it is time for you to do the same.
Some of you readers may say I went over the top on this post. Some of you readers may not even call this a "blog". All I can tell you is that I wrote from the heart, I worked hard on it, I like what I did, and that I didn't stop until I wanted to. I feel strongly about this sports topic, and, I'm not just writing to Don Imus, I'm also writing to all others in his position.
