The Real Deal

Here it is. My first fantasy football post.

So, I've got my eye on a few players this off-season. One of them has the first name of Aaron, and the last name of Rodgers. You guessed it, Aaron Rodgers, QB of the Green Bay Packers. In my slightly large, but wonderful mind, Aaron Rodgers will not be a top 10 fantasy QB this upcoming season. But, he has the capability to put up top 15 QB fantasy numbers. First, let's take a walk to his surrounding cast. Greg Jennings, Donald Driver, Donald Lee, Ryan Grant, a pretty good offensive line, and more surround this QB. I say that it is much much easier to come into a starting QB role with a cast like that because the pressure will be lifted a bit by those players. Plus, throwing the ball to great players always makes a QB more confident because the QB will have more confidence in his teammates if they are a great player. Second, we will walk down to see his coaching staff and the opportunity they are giving him. They have all but yodeled it to the world that Aaron Rodgers is their guy, especially since Brohm has not impressed anyone, even the grandmothers who just like to admire the players' behinds. So, it's not like Rodgers will be worrying about his spot anytime soon. That will make for a more relaxed and composed Aaron Rodgers, which spells out good for the Green Bay Packers and his fantasy owners (yes, I am one of them).

Aaron Rodgers will end up being a star QB in the NFL in a few seasons, and, even this season, he has potential to put up top 15 QB fantasy numbers. That's why I say to you my fine sir's, don't be afraid of the power of Aaron. Go for it, take the "risk". You won't be disappointed. Aaron Rodgers IS the real deal.
